Boo, Boo, Theme Song is a reasonably amusing Max Fleischer Screen Song cartoon
I just watched this Max Fleischer Screen Song cartoon short on the Uncle John's Crazy Town site. Taking place at radio station BOO where a spider plays the organ and announces, the place is also the Dekayo Factory whose product of dekayo has gas, oil, acid, and TNT as ingredients. The inhabitants are animal ghosts like that of a spider and a vulture. There's also some skeletons who among them are a stereotypically caricatured black band that play some jazz music. The version I saw had the live action band The Funnyboners cut out. Despite the stereotypes I mentioned, this was quite an enjoyably instrumentally musical short with some amusing gags. So on that note, Boo, Boo, Theme Song is worth a look. P.S. A brief scat vocal is the voice of the first Popeye: William "Red Pepper" Costello.
