Betty Compson learned to play the violin in her youth and played professionally in theaters and in vaudeville acts from age 16 and plays the instrument in this film without the need for dubbing.
Based on the play of the same title that opened on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre, 220 W. 48th St., on February 9, 1915 and ran for 103 performances.
