Reels 3, 4 and 6 of this 7 Reel film survive in the Library of Congress.
Ingmar Bergman claimed in a 1971 interview with Dick Cavett that the first motion picture he can remember seeing was Black Beauty at the age of about six years of age. He also claimed to have not seen it since but could clearly remember many images and would love to see the film again as an adult.
