The first scenes of the movie are forever lost. It is a silent film which was never released. It was made for Keuka College, to help them raise money. The available copy of this film is done with a narrator from this century who explains the story and pints out interesting bits of history throughout the film. Living in Penn Yan,where this was filmed, it is an interesting look at the village 100 years ago. The film, available at our local library, has a narrator from this century who is explaining the movie as it goes along. Be sure to watch the extras. The final scene of the film is the only location in town I recognized.
