A small, hate-filled man became famous on television, radio, newspapers and the internet. Perhaps he got what he wanted but his victims were forgotten, their families left alone to cope with a gaping hole in their lives, a hole where their loved ones had once been. Six Munich teenagers spent eight months researching the crime and its victims. "Unvergessen" takes the viewer on a journey to discover the first and the last of the dead, Can and Dimo. The film shows us who they were, what made them special and what we have lost through their deaths. We hear from a father, a sister, a friend and a teacher, we share their pain and we begin to understand the unfathomable. "Unvergessen" is a unique film, made by teenagers about a crime that tried to tear apart the city of Munich. But failed.
