- Cundo returns home after ten years' absence. The reason is the death of his best friend, Suso. Cundo's plans consist of having a binge to Suso's health with his old friends, pretending that everything in his life is hunky-dory and then getting the hell out again. But his life leaves much to be desired and Suso has more in mind than a binge.

- August, 1995. Fourteen miners died in the mining pit San Nicolás. Soon, a group of widows spoke to the camera in the documentary "Solas en la tierra", with testimonies of a moving sincerity. Twenty five years later, "Lámpara oscura" tries to recover that past from the perspective of the present.
