- A victory over neighboring state Vaishai has always eluded Magadh Samrat Ajaatshatru despite being winning and taking control over all neighboring states. He attacks Vaishali only get defeated again. Wounded, lost and on the run, Ajaatshatru dons the guise of a Vaishali soldier and takes shelter with a woman named Amrapali and they fall in love with each other. Ajaatshatru finds an ally in Senapati Balbadhra Singh and both start a plot to gain control of Vaishali. Vaishali Samrat comes to know about Ajaatshatru and Amrapali's liaison with him, he sentences her with a death penalty. Ajaatshatru is enraged at this, he gathers together his armies and storms the unsuspecting Vaishali and virtually burns the city down, killing almost everyone in it. This accomplished, he rushes to free his beloved from the dungeons. He does set her free but it is not the same Amrapali; this Amrapali is quite different. She is not at all thrilled to be in the presence of her conqueror lover. She teaches him what he won in the battle ground but what he lost in reality.

Then one day Raghu walks away from her life, leaving her uncle, Gangadhar, to arrange her wedding with wealthy Kishan, but she refuses. Gangadhar then approaches the Maharaja, who initially decides to oppose Gangadhar's plans, but starts to lust after Anapurna when he himself gets possessed by Kaam. The question remains will Anapurna be forced to marry the Maharaja?

- Distraught after the death of his wife Sati, Shiva isolates himself and becomes immersed in deep meditation. Prompted by the evil Paap (sin) to capitalize on the opportunity, the demon Taraka who had been granted a boon that he could only die at the hands of Shiva's son stages an attack on Devalok, ousting the demigods. To restore order and vanquish sin, Adishakti takes birth as Ganga and Uma, the daughters of Himavat, king of the mountains. While younger sister Uma undertakes arduous austerities to break Shiva's penance and beget the child prophesied to slay Taraka, elder sister Ganga is brought to heaven. Raised under the tutelage of Brahma and sanctified by the water that had once washed the feet of Vishnu, Ganga becomes a celestial river coursing the heavens, purifying anything she touches. With Ganga guarding heaven's periphery, the defeated Paap turns his sight to earth. There he ravages the land and its inhabitants alike, until Ganga is besought to descend upon earth to wash away sin with her cleansing waters.

Under the tutelage of the Sage, the boys become masters at arms. Using magical powers, they rout an army seeking to establish the King's rule over the Hermitage where the boys live. Laxman is wounded in the battle. The King, Himself, enters the fray seeking revenge. In the nick of time, father, mother and sons, and the King and His subjects are reconciled and Sita returns to the bosom of Mother Earth from which She came.
