- Four friends are attacked by a demon while on a picnic, due to possession of a tome of mystic information. Told in flashbacks by the sole survivor.
- Casey Owens (James Darren), a young mechanic, has developed a design for a turbine car engine, paving the way for a jet-powered auto certain to set a new land speed record. Wealthy playboy Stanford Rogers (Peter Mann) hires Casey to build a car for him to attempt to set a new Land Speed Record. Chuck Manning (Doug McClure), an engineering student Casey met in a drag race, discovers potential flaws in the car's design. After an unsuccessful test run, Rogers abandons the turbine-powered. He decides to turn his attention to race a car in the Tristate Endurance Race. Casey and Chuck buy the wrecked Land Speed car and salvage the Turbine Engine. They fix the Turbine and install it in a car that they enter in the Tristate Endurance Race. Pamela Tiffin plays Eadie, Chuck's sister, who becomes Casey's love interest.
- An intelligent android (Michael) constructed by a research team is taken outdoors and successfully passed off as human in a trial run. When the government hears of this, they order their own set of tests in Washington. When the project leader realizes the military want the android for a soldier, he can't accept it, and he and Michael go into hiding to avoid their clutches.

- Leslie MacLeod, a young American who has come to Scotland after buying her ancestral castle, is admired by two suitors, young nobleman Lord Glenayr, whom she loves, and Lanzana, an unscrupulous Spaniard, whom she despises. Lanzana has been promised a title by the Spanish court if he recovers a chest of jewels that sank with the Spanish Armada off the Spanish coast. Angered by Leslie's refusal to marry him, Lanzana attempts to drug her wine, but she switches glasses. Once Lanzana falls unconscious, she steals his treasure map and presents it to Glenayr. With the aid of a friend's submarine, they find the wreck, and Glenayr dives for the treasure. When Glenayr finds Lanzana there already, they struggle; Lanzana drowns, and Glenayr secures the jewels and marries Leslie.
- In the late 1950's, the U.S. Department of Defense used the drainage tunnels underneath Los Angeles to secretly transport nuclear weapons to their Cold War storage facilities in the hills above Pasadena. These tunnels were eventually abandoned but left unsealed. In 2003, the mutilated body of immigrant Lucy Hernandez was found dumped in one of those tunnels. An hour later, it was never seen again.
