- Follows Swedish-Americans returning to Sweden to discover their roots. They learn more about their family. Participants must leave the series and can thus miss their chance to get to know more about its origins.
- Ten new North Americans have come to Sweden to discover their Swedish roots. It will be a dramatic start to the adventure: in the fog over a sea with big waves they arrive in Sweden Once they land, they find out that among them there are links to some of the most famous events and people in Swedish history. - North Americans get an unreal experience as they move in and live castle life at Kalmar Castle. They get courtesy clothes, shoot a bow and cook for a feast that the kings of the Vasa family would have loved, namely pike in various forms. Christina gets her very dramatic family history which turns out to include everything from a noble person who saved the life of Gustav II Adolf, to some others who were imprisoned at the very Kalmar castle, accused of murder. - The participants move north, to Jämtland, where they move in with some families and get to test on life in the Swedish sparsely populated area. They build on the dance track in Oviken, coach children in a football match and find out that Jämtland's great celebrity Storsjöodjuret is probably there for real. Brittany learns that her ancestor, who was killed in Karl XII's army, was from Oviken and that it was very close that her family had never been.
- The losers of last week's competition have the anxiety of being forced to go home, especially that of those who haven't had their day with family history yet. But until the competition they all have a fantastic time when they get to live life as Swedish farmers. Kaytie, who loves the animals she worked with, decides to become a vegetarian at a barbecue dinner in the yard.
- Ten expectant Americans travel around Sweden in search of their roots. On the way, they get to experience Sweden today and they compete for a reunion with their Swedish relatives. The journey starts at the Svinesund Bridge and then takes our competitors to a place many Swedes have a relationship with. Anders undresses and they get to try a real cold bath.

Therefore, it becomes a very powerful experience when Americans get to visit dalahäst factory in Nusnäs and additionally make their very own wooden horse. Matthew Anderson's family comes from Mora and he has been waiting all summer to get to know their family history. The result allowed him to understand why his father is who he is. Dala horse plays another important role when another American must leave All for Sweden.
- Now begins the time in Sweden coming to an end. It's only five Americans left. On Gotland waiting that all Swedes are going there to do - have a great holiday. Americans visiting Sweden's hottest beach and cars around on the historic island. It gets strong reactions when Americans see how unabashed and naked Swedes behave on holiday. The holiday on the island of Gotland gets a heavy trades when Swedish summer plagues will be the case for those who are forced to meet in the final casting competition before the finals.
