- "H.R. Giger's Sanctuary" explores the treasures of the H.R. Giger Museum & Giger Bar at the Chateau St. Germain in beautiful Gruyeres, Switzerland. The documentary features an interview and a museum tour with the master of the airbrush, the inventor of "biomechanics", and the creator of the Academy Award winning "Alien". - "Return to Florence" takes a humorous look at Anglo-American art students in romantic Florence, Italy. In an intimate school setting, they learn the painting techniques of the Renaissance period, while being isolated from modern influences. The documentary compares the students' expectations with what they actually experience, exploring as well their love affairs and conflicts.
- They call it their friend. They call it their home. It has shaped their lives for centuries. And now it's slowly fading away. The people of the Swiss Alps engage the viewer with tales about the titan that frightened them, threatened their homes, and imprisoned their souls, but that to this day helps them survive: The Great Aletsch Glacier. "Legacy of the Great Aletsch" reveals the world's most notable glacier as something more than an indicator for climate change.
