Driven to desperation she steps off the set, into the void and finds herself in the mind of her animator, her human counterpart. For a brief moment she inhabits the consciousness of her animator, soaking in her surrounding, the "real world" as, the audience, we know it. But when she realises that she is not alone in her fate, that everyone she knows, including her boyfriend Patrick, has an animator of their own, she decides to return to her puppet world and live with the knowledge of what lies behind the veil of her reality.
