- The arrival of the telegraph put Pony Express riders like John Blair and his pal Smoky out of work. A race will decide whether they or Stageline owner Drake get the government mail contract.
- Gene heads for the big city to convince a coffee company to sponsor a radio broadcast so he can raise the money for an operation which will save a girl from being crippled for life.
- When the circus owner friend of the Mesquiteers is framed for counterfeiting by his unscrupulous partner, the trio pledges to maintain his interests and care for his young daughter.
- About to marry Jim Plummer, Kate Foley runs off to Nevada when Ed Bagley convinces her a quick fortune can be made robbing gold shipments that are being transported by the railroad. In Bannock City she meets reformed-bandit Frank Plummer, posing as Frank Norris, brother of Jim Plummer, who has being going straight and working as an express shipment guard. Jim also shows up and plans a robbery by stealing a train and hiding it in an abandoned tunnel. The two brothers are on opposite sides of the law with the now-reformed Kate caught in the middle.
- The Mesquiteers capture a horse thief who escapes justice through a crooked judge. They gather signatures urging the governor to investigate but a friend with the petition is murdered. Stony is accused.
- The Wolverine Kid kills a man and it looks like Steve Howard did it. But Steve's father recognizes the bullet as coming from the gun owned by the Kid. The Kid and Steve each have one of the ivory handled guns that were used when their fathers feuded many years earlier. Setting out to get the Kid, Steve gets captured by his men.
- A professor invents a radium tube that makes internal combustion engines stop running. He and his invention are captured by a gang of robbers. A federal agent is sent to rescue him.
- Two brothers are separated when young. One becomes the pony express rider Clint Knox and the other the outlaw Ace Carter. Their next meeting finds Ace way-laying Clint as he delivers the mail.
- Unscrupulous ranchers feud among themselves for control of the valley but a newcomer owns the water rights to the sole water source, without which grazing lands are useless.
- Cowboy puts on a black mask and a black outfit to fight a gang of land-grabbing crooks.
- Jim Waters arrives at Ed Parks' ranch to find Parks' cattle herd mysteriously increased. Hamp Harvey has been losing cattle and he suspects Parks. But the culprit is Harvey's foreman Brent who gets his orders from the town's leading citizen Sig Barstell. Barstell wants Harvey's ranch and after trying to frame Harvey by killing Parks, Waters takes over and goes after both the killer and the rustlers.
- Tex and sidekick Grass join McGill's traveling show. When Price has McGill's wagons burned, Tex becomes the county tax collector to earn money. This leads to trouble as one of those owing money is Price who says he will not pay.
- The Range Busters are investigating a gold robbery from the Denver Mint in a supposedly deserted Arizona ghost town, but they soon find they're not the only town resident with a nose for gold.
- Barton's mine foreman is receiving gold bullion from gangsters in the East, putting it through the mine's smelter, and then shipping it out. When Barton finds out, Murdocks men make him a prisoner. Arriving at the same time, Alamo hears the story of the Masked Phantom and then becomes that Phantom fighting Murdock and his men and attempting to find Barton.
- Tired of being a cowboy movie star, Yorke quits the movies and buys a ranch so he can be a real cowboy. But just as in his films trouble arrives. This time it's bank robber Sampson and his two cronies.
- Ranchers and cattlemen take on a packing company and a dubious lawyer.
- Trouble has been reported in Placerville where Tom Barton's brother is the Marshal. Arriving Tom finds a phoney Marshal in his brother's place. Learning that Clark is behind the all the trouble and that he is after the Madison stage line, Tom joins up with Mary Madison to fight Clark while he also looks for his missing brother.
- A government agent falsely accused of murdering a professor takes the identity of "The Puma", a Mexican vigilante leader, to hide his real identity and find the actual killers.
- Tom Wade is a range detective whose brother stands accused of robbing a bank and murdering the bank president. To prove him innocent, Wade must decipher his only clue, an unusual set of tire tracks.
- To help relieve overcrowded prison conditions, the Mesquiteers turn their ranch into a work farm. Construction Company man Beaton is hoping for a new prison contract and sets out to see that the experiment is a failure. He lures the Mesquiteers away and then has his henchman dressed as prisoners rob the local ranchers and plant the loot at the Mesquiteers ranch.
- When Steve and Lucky bring a herd to market, Lucky gets into trouble and hides on an outgoing wagon train. Steve finds him and is about to bring him back when they are attacked and the leader killed. Steve takes over as the new leader but the wagon train is quickly in trouble when Indians attack.
- The three Mesquiteers try to recover the gold stolen by a gang in its effort to ruin the banker/mayor who ordered them to leave town.
- Tom and Fuzzy investigate a ghost town which, in this case, is supposedly haunted by real ghosts. The town is an outlaw gang's hideout, and they scare folks away to protect their mine.
- Learning of Walters' inheritance, Larson kills him and assumes his identity. When Larson's men try to kill Walter's niece Lola, Jack Lane breaks it up. This leads to a showdown with Jack outnumbered by Larson and his gang. Having saved Loma's life earlier, he has Fuzzy ride for him and his men.
- Billy the Kid is rumored to still be alive and Marshal Steve Langdon is investigating. First he finds Billy's coffin empty. Then he finds evidence that Wilfred Barnet, a respected elder citizen, is Billy and shows it to Barnet's daughter. When Barnet confesses to his daughter, his clerk overhears and informs his old gang and this leads to trouble.
