- Asian Elephant, Thi, is pregnant again, but keepers are worried for both her and her unborn calf. Male Clownfish Polo, is injured while fighting with the other males for the attention of dominant female, Rosie. A new male Giant Anteater arrives as a potential mate for Bliss and Giraffe, Meru, is on a mission.
- A chimpanzee named Zee Zee gives birth to a daughter. Mr. Parsons, an elderly chameleon, has a date. Gaston the Banteng gets the females in his herd pregnant.
- Malayan Tapir, Solo, is being moved to another zoo in Germany. A pregnant Indian Rhino named Asha goes into labour at night. Minnie the Mantis is looking for a mate.
- Meerkats Beagle and Huskie become new parents. An overactive Spider Monkey mother is causing problems. Fairy bluebirds, Terang and Bulu, lay some eggs and African Wild Dog, K'mana, has an appointment with the vet.

- Bert and Terrance, the Radiated Tortoises, are competing over female, Smooth Sides. K'tusha the Okapi is about to give birth to her first baby and Eurasian black vultures, Eric and Ethel, who haven't mated yet, may need to be separated.
- "Secret Life at the Zoo Christmas" - The animals receive their presents. It's a celebration for the birth of the UK's first surviving Sun Bear cub.
- 2016– 41mTV-G8.1 (10)TV EpisodeWendy, the Visayan Warty Pig, manages to escape from her enclosure, causing an emergency. Young Giraffe, Narus, is moving to a zoo in the Netherlands. Keepers try to get Pinstripe Dambas, Noel and Frida, to mate.
- Elderly Cheetah, Matrah, develops a limp and is examined by the vets. Young Sumatran Orangutan, Tuti, needs to prove that she's responsible enough to look after her new sister. Rare Babirusa piglets arrive, but there are concerns for the runt of the litter.
- Keepers think that two-toed sloth, Tina, may be pregnant. A young new male is introduced to the mandrill group. Keepers find a new mate for South American blue poison dart frog, Big Bertha, who loves to wrestle and try to get Asiatic Lions, Kiburi and Iblis, to mate.
- Khari the dik-dik becomes a father and his fight or flight instinct goes into overdrive. A broken window in the reticulated python exhibit needs to be replaced. Kai the Pademelon meets a female for the first time and Malindi the rhino is moved into a calving pen to welcome her impending arrival.
- Andean Spectacled bears, Lima, and her daughter, Madidi, aren't getting along. Blue Morpho butterflies, Macuna and Peanut, need to produce the next generation, but when they get drunk on fermented fruit, things are up in the air. After platonic mate, Diego, is moved to another zoo, Giant Otter, Icana, is introduced to a new mate.
- Calypso the Flamingo loses interest in her chick, Marley, leaving his father, Rum, to care for him. Three onagers are pregnant and Rumple, the Sulawesi macaque, gives birth to her daughter, Rey.
- Jaguars, Napo and Goshi, haven't been breeding. Elephant calves, Nandita and Aayu, fall seriously ill. When silvery gibbon, Tilu, gives birth to a daughter, Rayya, it's up to father, Alven, to keep their older son, Eko, busy.
- Vets at Chester Zoo treat Asian elephant calf Indali for EEHV (elephant endotheliotropic herpes virus), the same virus that ended the lives of calves Aayu and Nandita in October of last year. The Cardinal fish are breeding and the Humboldt penguin colony welcomes 16 new members while penguins Almond and her mate Walnut go house-hunting.
- Rothschild's giraffe Dagmar is in labor. Orangutan sisters Tuti and Siska, and their baby cousin Kesuma, rebuild their relationship after the fire that engulfed their habitat in December 2018. A blue-throated macaw goes on the run.
- Asian short-clawed otters develop bald patches. Flamingo chicks are being moved to the adult aviary. A pregnant antelope's aggressive behavior is causing concern.
- Keepers plan a herd birth for Orla the giraffe. Two spider monkeys withdraw from their family. Two camels experience the trauma of separation when one undergoes an operation.
- A new male spotty chocolate poison dart frog is introduced to the colony. The Sulawesi macaques are ecstatic to welcome a new baby to their family.
- Elderly chameleon Mr Parsons is introduced to two new prospective partners. Bongo Malaeka shows little interest in her potential mate, Moti. George, the pinstripe damba, has a lump on his gill which may be affecting his breathing.
- As the documentary series following life at Chester Zoo returns, on Chimpanzee Island the younger males test the pecking order. And there's a fish out of water at the aquarium. Deer couple Serena and Odin welcome their second doe.
