- Welcome to Greenland, the most imposing island on Earth. Every summer, its massive ice sheet melts, revealing immense potential for mineral wealth in the virgin rock below. Now, a group of eight American prospectors have banded together to strike it rich.
- Every one is missing the comforts of home. Americo is disenchanted with camping; and Jack is uneasy around the younger, ambitious men. But their time in Greenland is limited, and it's time for the miners to begin prospecting. Eric's research shows that the creeks and rocky slopes in the area holds precious minerals; this leads the group to a nearby glacier basin. It's a race to the bottom after the team splits into two groups: Gator, John and Eric; and Jack, Chad and Americo. The teams act quickly as ominous skies and clouds move in. But for stragglers, Josh and Jesse, the early bid doesn't necessarily get the worm. Tensions rise as the brothers take their time to get ready in the morning, attempting to make up for it with their ambitious attitudes. The next morning, Josh, Jesse and Americo hike to a new location and begin panning. Within minutes, prospecting newbie Americo finds flecks of gold!
- Gator and Americo are building bonds. After Americo finds gold, the miners' spirits are lifted, and they name the creek after him. The team plans to head back up to "Americo Falls," hoping to find more gold. The prospectors spread out along the stream-bed, and Eric moves about, checking in with each of the men on his progress. Chad and Jack are annoyed with Eric's overbearing behavior and confront him. Chad stakes his 23 years of experience on his theory that further prospecting of the area is pointless, and Eric argues that his 35 years of geology say otherwise. Later, Jesse and Eric decide to move south, sampling the terrain as they go. Excited about the rocks they're finding, Jesse points out that the terrain is becoming more perilous. For Jesse, Josh and Eric, one wrong step means certain death for all. John and Eric decide to pan together and find a large garnet - John's best find of the trip! Meanwhile, Chad, Americo and Gator scout an area north of base camp and notice a monstrous bird circling overhead - a sea eagle.
- Typically, miners believe that 'gold rides on an iron horse,' but this is not true for Greenland. Based on their resources and time, the miners search for what they know is on Storø: rubies and sapphires. It's been a month since the team has been in Greenland, and it's unclear as to whether everyone is on the same page. Greenland is taking a toll on the men; Jack begins to mentally check out, retreating to a rock by a stream; John feels the physical wear and tear; and Chad mends his strained calf and mourns the loss of his good friend and fellow miner, who died earlier this year. Knowing that time is running out, Jesse, Gator, Josh and Eric scout a waterfall above Blue Lake, where they find enough crystal structure to insist on a trip back the next day. Knowing how valuable the trip is to their company's future, Josh deems the area 'Hope Falls'. Coincidentally, Chad carries a vile of his mother's ashes with him everywhere. Her name? Hope. Later, during an evening meeting, the team is startled by a deafening avalanche. Rocks fall from a ridge high above the camp, creating plumes of dust in the air. Physically and mentally drained, the eight miners head back to Nuuk to regroup. In order to continue, they need to reassess how they're working as a company. Do they leave Storø, or do they decide to give it one last shot?
- After having been battered by a massive storm, the miners must band together to fix the damage to their camp. Spirits are low, and tensions begin to mount as the team loses faith in its operation.
- With only 10 days left in Greenland, few resources and no proof of any worth on Storø, the team has one last chance. Rubies are on the island of Fiskenaesset, but with only four spots on the helicopter who gives them the best chances of striking it rich?
- Greenland's a veritable beast, but the motley crew of ICE COLD GOLD miners is up for the challenge. Each thinks he has what it takes to walk away with gold, rubies and sapphires before winter and large mining companies swoop in.
- Sixty Degree Resources, a small American mining company, returned to Greenland for another battle with the beast.
- The American miners have their sights set on what team Geologist Eric Drummond believes could be the largest ruby deposit in the Arctic. But Greenland's wild frontier soon plays havoc as the team struggles to return to its prized claim from last year.
- The miners embark for the Red Zone and dive into the rich ruby deposit they discovered last year, but the mercurial weather, brutal terrain and extreme isolation oppose the miners' every move. Even in base camp, the dredge operation starts off with unbridled optimism but soon disintegrates into a mess of poor planning and renewed fear that the potential reward never could make up for the enormous risk of this pricey endeavor. Getting back to the Red Zone after a year of anticipation is both triumphant and daunting. Punchdrunk with the first signs of ruby fever, the miners quickly get hit with a harsh reality: Greenland throws a wrench into their plans, and the beast from within starts to rear its ugly head.
- While Josh, Chad and John are down at base camp prepping the dredge to move to the upper lake, the Red Zone team are pulling out rubies by the scores, but with low food supply and pending bad weather, the team has to muster its strength to finish the job.

With food supplies almost nonexistent and weather turning from bad to worse on a dime, the team is mustering all its strength to make this venture a success. John desperately wants to see the rubies on his 50th birthday, so he makes a foolhardy hike to the Red Zone with more than 50 pounds of reindeer meat on his back. It's a dangerous trek never before done by any human, and with the wrong intentions, he puts the team at severe risk with his choice to redeem himself. Meanwhile, Eric gets a bad case of ruby fever and successfully ventures farther and deeper into the Red Zone. The miners find a deposit a hundred times better than their first and confirm they could be sitting at the epicenter of the largest ruby band in the world. They find one particular ruby worth $200,000, but with ruby fever in full swing, the team members begin to mistrust themselves and each other. Eric tries to take control but ends up breaking the ruby that could have paid for the whole season. The group's low morale is saved when John arrives with reindeer meat, but time and weather are forcing them to leave the Red Zone in two days. In the mad rush to take care of business, the team begins to unravel again, and adding John into the mix only stirs the pot worse.
- The miners are almost at season's end. With winter closing in, and time running out, Josh and Eric arrive in Eqi, north of the Arctic Circle, for one last shot at gold, while the rest of the team focuses on dredging for rubies.
- It's the miner's last week and Greenland has not only gotten into their heads but she is exposing their inner demons. With only days left before she covers her gifts up for the winter, The Beast reveals the chinks in their resolve.
- The miners are almost at season's end. With winter closing in and time running out, Josh and Eric arrive in Eqi, north of the Arctic Circle, for one last shot at gold, while the rest of the team focuses on dredging for rubies the Upper Lake area with Chad. Chad faces scorn once the team discovers that Chad and Josh dropped the dredge in an area that's not even on their claim. And, the miners are unhappy when they're forced to move the quarter-ton machine half a mile before they can begin their search for rubies. Eric's research has him convinced that there are riches in Eqi, and he and Josh must venture into the unknown to seek a new deposit during terrible, trapping weather. Is the dredge worth the investment, and does Chad's reputation hit rock bottom? Can Josh and Eric uncover a mountain of gold before Greenland sends them packing? The pressure is on for the miners as time and patience runs out.
- After a possible brush with death in Iceland, the team discovers some devastating news about the 13 million dollar ruby deposit they have been working on for a year and a half.
- Our miners begin their journey into Greenland's unexplored and unforgiving wilderness in search ultimate treasure. While half the team discovers what could be a massive gold deposit, the rest of the team finds themselves stranded 5 miles from camp.
- On almost no sleep, our miners have split into two groups and set out into Greenland's dangerous landscape for a recon mission. While they battle the symptoms of sleep deprivation, one group of miners face a deadly valley with massive falling boulders.
- Time is running short in Saqqaq and Eric pushes the team to explore every corner of the mountains surrounding their basecamp for gold treasure. After Jesse and Gator refuse, Americo, follows Eric up a deadly 1200 ft slope to sample for gold.
- Eric, our lead geologist, continues to battle gold fever as he pushes himself and his team well past their limits in order to find gold. The miners have only two days left at camp to explore the three most dangerous areas in Saqqaq.
- After a week of tireless prospecting in an unstable area of Greenland known as Saqqaq, our seven miners were able to make two gold claims potentially worth millions. A new addition to the team is introduced, a Greenlandic camp guard dog named Nuunu.
- With half their equipment destroyed in the sling drop, the members of Sixty-Degree Resources find themselves scattered. Not to mention trapped on a dangerously remote island surrounded by ice in every direction called Cloud Island.
- In a last ditch effort to salvage Cloud Island, arctic expeditionist, Doug Stoup, leads the miners fearlessly across a fractured ice sheet to collect samples. In Ilulissat, Eric's scientific methods are wearing thin on the Feldman brothers.
- The gold of Eqi might be Sixty Degree Resources final hope. The seven miners are about to reach their tipping point. Even though Saqqaq was a success, Cloud Island was a huge failure and their faith in Eric's strategy is losing steam. But even after suffering one catastrophic blow after another, they find themselves very confident when it comes to their next base camp, Eqi. They found huge quantities of gold there last season, and the team is positive the target will produce even more. However, once they reach Eqi and set up basecamp, the team's geologist, Eric Drummond, reveals his new secret plan. Will his vision divide the team more or bring them together at last?
- When fighting the beast within, every man has his threshold. After weeks of tension among the miners, they prepare to depart from Eqi. Butthe gloves come off for a fight between Eric and the Feldman's that may split the team forever.
