- Geoffrey is looking for the shampoo and towel. George has lost his toy dog, Zippy is looking for Rod, Jane and Freddy and Bungle is searching for a 10p coin. Meanwhile, Kim Goody is on a special journey using several modes of transport.
- Zippy has decided he wants to be a famous comedian. At night he dreams of being a contestant on 'Who's a Lucky Person' but when nobody laughs at his jokes, Ernie Wise comes to give him some tips.
- The Rainbow gang is being very creative indeed and putting together their own version of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Jane plays Jack and Bungle the Giant. Zippy is Jack's mother (Mrs Beanstalk). Rod is the evil wizard who sells Jack the beans and Geoffrey and Freddy for some reason are a clown double act called 'Tea and Cocoa'. George wanted to be the cow, but ends up being Georgieporgy when the two clowns take the part of the cow.
- When Geoffrey unexpectedly has to look after his grandfather, Bungle, Zippy and George have to stay with Auntie for the night. Zippy is especially grumpy about having to leave home.
- George has gone missing during teatime. He is actually in his the spare room upstairs, which he calls his 'secret place'. He goes there when he wants to be alone with his doll Bertie and his shell collection.
- Geoffrey wants to change his hair for a fancy dress party. The others join him in experimenting with several wigs, but Geoffrey ends up getting his hair cut instead.
- George and Bungle are helping Geoffrey with the household, but Zippy is being lazy. All three of them work together on making some jam tarts. Geoffrey has just enough time to tell a story before he has to pick up Mrs. Williams for Jane, but the story turns out not to have an ending.
- The Rainbow gang act out the pretend story of Dick Turnip the naughty highwayman. Geoffrey, as Dick, steals the famous Bungle Warren necklace from Lady Jane, the Baron's daughter. But Zippy the Good catches Turnip and brings him before Judge George.
- Geoffrey has taken Bungle, Zippy and George to the laundrette. There they learn about all sort of machines, from washing machines to those that work on the road.
- Geoffrey uses a microscope and a magnifying glass to teach Bungle, Zippy and George about things that are too small to see by eye. George fantasizes about seeing fairies.
- Zippy is giving Bungle a singing lesson, but refuses to teach George. Alfred Marks comes to visit and gives George a private lesson.
- George and Zippy are unable to sleep because of Bungle snoring, the telephone ringing and the television being on too loud.
- Geoffrey explains all about teeth when Bungle loses one of his milk-teeth and Zippy eats too many sweets.
- The Rainbow gang is having a concert in the backyard. Zippy is being a big show-off and tries to upstage Bungle and Geoffrey as they do a little dance, George when he performs a nursery rhyme and even his singing cousin Zippo.
- The Rainbow gang are anticipating their trip to a Safari Park tomorrow and talk about all the different animals they will see there.
- Geoffrey is lining up domino's but Bungle touches them even when he's told not to. George spills all his marbles on the ground, causing Freddy and Rod to slip on them. Zippy hasn't changed his yellow socks in days, and they have started to smell. George's green ice-cream lolly melts before he can finish it. Bungle wonders why his slinky won't go up the stairs. Geoffrey does a magic trick with a funnel.
- Geoffrey is cross because George, Zippy and Bungle have made a mess in the garden. So he decides to divide the garden up in equal pieces for each one of them.
- The theme of the first TV show is Shapes of all kinds and sizes.
