- Lili Dubarry, a stripper, calls Sam for help: a journalist who was blackmailing her has just been murdered, and she's afraid of being accused of the murder. Sally, who learns of Lili's call without knowing the reason for it, is jealous of Sam's correspondence with a stripper. Determined to take revenge, she forces Lili to swallow barbiturates and takes her place to do her act.
- As a model for a photographer, Sally witnesses his murder. Sam decides to conduct his own investigation. One of the shots on the roll of film found at the photographer's home features the portrait of a young girl, Isabelita, who has gone missing. Their search leads Sam and Sally to the home of a billionaire, Ronald Ruck. It was he who commissioned the photographer to take Isabelita's portrait. At Ruck's home, Sally discovers a forty-year-old photo of someone who is an exact replica of the young Isabelita.
