Beautiful blonde stunner Carol Vitale was born on November 14, 1946 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Carol grew up in New Jersey with her six half brothers and sisters. At age 12 Vitale went to New York City and won a dance contest. Moreover, she won second place in a track and field competition. Carol not only actively participated in drama and the glee club during her high school years, but also dated the captain of the high school football team. Vitale's career as a model began at age 18 when she moved with a friend to Florida. In Florida Carol posed for Oldsmobile commercial ads, was a spokes model for the biggest racetrack in Florida, and was a finalist in the Miss Florida World contest. Moreover, she worked for five years as a Bunny at the Playboy Club in Miami. Vitale was the Playmate of the Month in the July, 1974 issue of "Playboy." Carol did three additional pictorials for "Playboy" and even graced the cover of the August, 1972 issue.
In 1979 Vitale moved to Los Angeles, California and got a job working in the publicity department at Universal Studios. She became interested in broadcasting in the early 1980s and learned all about broadcasting at the local Los Angeles radio station KISS-FM. Carol earned a degree in broadcasting in 1982. Vitale hosted her own talk show called The Carol Vitale Show (1989); this program ran on the USA Network for eleven years. In addition, Vitale also designed a sensual lingerie glove called Daring Dainties Sensual Hand Lingerie (this glove was featured in the catalogs for both Playboy and Frederick's of Hollywood), continued to model for "Playboy," and attended various "Playboy" events. Carol lived in both Florida and California and ran her own website in the early 2000s. Alas, her health deteriorated in her latter years as she suffered from lupus and scleroderma. Carol Vitale died at age 61 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in her condo in Aventura, Florida on July 23, 2008.- Gary Raynsford was born on 20 June 1961 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, UK.
