Radu is an emerging director of photography based in Romania.
In high-school, he studied Sculpture and Ceramics. He then discovered his interest for photography and attraction to Visual Arts.
There are virtually no Fine Arts that Radu isn't interested in.

The shorts he worked on as director of photography were screened and awarded in numerous film festivals around the world.
He has worked on productions originating in Spain, Romania, Germany, India, Macedonia and is available worldwide.- Aristide Teica was one of the best, and most popular, Romanian actors specialized in cameos. He played only one leading role (the sectarian preacher, in "Bocet Vesel" / "Joyful Mourning"), and a few lenghty secondary ones, starting with the one that made him so popular: the foolish police officer Teica (same name as in real life), in the TV mini-series "Un august în flacari" / "Burning August"). Also, he played innumerable parts, of all sorts, in the Ploiesti Theater and Odeon (Bucharest) Theater; one of his best performances on this latter stage was Nae Ipingescu, in Caragiale's "O noapte furtunoasa" / "A stormy night", directed by Alexa Visarion.
He was witty, funny, with a brilliant sense of humor, mobile, creative and spontaneous, and his favorite parts were those of the abysmally idiotic characters, that he portrayed with an unique touch of absurd humor.
As a person, he was more than charming - he was lovely and lovable. Extremely communicative, friendly, warm-hearted, respectful and with impeccable manners - a real gentleman, so opposed to the churls and boors he often constructed on stage and on set.
By one of those saddest twists of fate, this great man died deserted by all his friends, all alone and in deep poverty, after having brought fun and joy to so many souls. - Born in a tiny village Haimanalele, next to Ploesti town in Romanian province of Muntenia (Valahia), in a family of actors (both parents and his two uncles - his father's brothers - were actors). In a short period between 1878 and 1884 he wrote his most important plays : A Stormy Night, Mr. Leonida, Carnival Stories, A Lost Letter.
