- Vladimir Davydov was born on 19 January 1849 in Novomirgorod, Bobrinets uyezd, Kherson Governorate, Russian Empire [now Novomyrhorod, Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine]. He was an actor, known for Svadba Krechinskogo (1908). He died on 23 June 1925 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia].
- Dmitry Ivanovich Buzko was a Ukrainian writer, critic, politician and screenwriter. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Copenhagen (1915). An a professional Bolshevik, Buzko was a leader in active revolutionary work in Ukraine. In 1908 he was exiled to the Irkutsk region, from where he fled to Switzerland. In 1917 he returned to his homeland. In 1920-1926 - editor of the All-Ukrainian Film Management (Vseukrainske Foto Kino Upravlinnia) in Kharkov and Kiev. Screenwriter of five films, worked with Les Kurbas. He was repressed during Stalin's Great Purge in 1937.
