Salar Pashtoonyar is a filmmaker hailing from Afghanistan.

Taranveer Singh is a trailblazing Indian music video director and an innovative film writer and director, deeply entrenched in the Punjabi Music and Film Industry. Born on March 31, 1996, in Abohar, Punjab, India, and raised in Jalalabad West, Taranveer later relocated to Chandigarh to advance his burgeoning career. He is a proud alumnus of Sacred Heart Convent School and graduated from Lovely Professional University.
Launching his directorial career in 2017 with the breakthrough music video "Tenu Neend Ni Auni" for Inder Chahal, Singh quickly became a pivotal figure in revolutionizing the Punjabi music video landscape. His portfolio grew to include acclaimed videos such as "Broken Soul" by Geet Nangla (2018), "What to Say" by Jinder Deol ft. Tanya Chauhan (2019), and "Mercedes" by Ranbir Grewal ft. Dinesh Mohan (2020). Known for his visionary approach, Taranveer has been instrumental in discovering and nurturing new talent, significantly influencing the evolution of the industry.
In 2017, he established his first production house, Afilmbyx, and further expanded his entrepreneurial ventures with Taranveer Singh Films in 2022. That same year, he achieved a milestone by directing the Punjabi music industry's first-ever 8k Ultra HD music video. He was also the creative force behind introducing Ayesha Khan in the 8k music video "Reborn Heer" by Rajvir Jawanda, setting the stage for her eventual rise to fame on Big Boss Season 17.
Taranveer's work includes dynamic collaborations with artists like R Nait in "Blast" and multiple projects with Isha Sharma, demonstrating his ability to maintain enduring creative partnerships. His global journey began in Dubai in October 2022, marking the start of an international collaborative spree with artists like R Nait. Upcoming projects include eagerly anticipated tracks such as "G Waggon Wale" and "Sunday."
In 2023, Taranveer's return to India to direct "Balle Balle" featuring Mahi Sharma symbolized his continuous commitment to fostering cinematic talent, showcased by Mahi Sharma's breakthrough role in "Gaddi Jaandi Ae Chalaangaan Maardi" with Punjabi cinema stalwarts Ammy Virk and Binnu Dhillon. As he prepares to transition into film directing in 2024, Taranveer is poised to integrate traditional Punjabi themes with global cinematic practices, promising to captivate a worldwide audience. His upcoming love story film, which expertly weaves multiple genres into a cohesive narrative, is eagerly anticipated and expected to set new benchmarks in the industry with its release slated for 2024 or 2025.
Taranveer's passion for nurturing talent and shaping the future of the industry led him to establish Taranveer Singh Film School in 2024. Located in Chandigarh & Mohali ,India, the school offers a range of socialized courses, including the Practical Filmmaking course and The Actor's Edge. With a focus on hands-on training and real-world experience, the school is committed to preparing the next generation of filmmakers and actors for success in the industry.
