Rumyana Petkova graduated film direction at VGIK (Cinema Institute), Moscow (1973). She teaches film direction at SWU "Neofit Rilski" at Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, since 1993. For her movie "Burn, little Fire, Burn" she won the Critic's Prize at the National Film Festival in Varna, and for "A Talk With Birds" - the Liv Ullman Prize at Chicago Film Festival.- Anton Mitev Karastoyanov is Bulgarian actor . He was born on April 14, 1939 in Elhovo, Bulgaria. He graduated National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1966 with a degree in "acting". He worked in the Gabrovo Drama Theater, in Satire Theater and in the National Theatre. Anton Karastoyanov was called by friends and colleagues "Tony the Wrinkle". Viewers have remembered his roles in "The Boy is going", "Tattoo", "Perverse Man," "Love," "Glow over Drava", "Rural Area", "Buna" "Daughter in Law", "Addendum to the Law on Protection of the State", "The Double". Anton Karastoyanov played memorable characters in the theater - in "Learning to Fly" by Yordan Radichkov, "Major Barbara" by Bernard Shaw, "Last time" by Valentin Rasputin, "Ivan Kondarev" by Emilian Stanev, "Under the Yoke" by Ivan Vazov. He was awarded the title "Honored Artist" in 1981. He won Second prize of the Review of the Soviet drama for his role in "Optimistic tragedy". He died on December 21, 2004 in Sofia.
- Angelina Slavova was born in Elhovo, Bulgaria. She graduated in "Acting for Theater" in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1992 in the class of Professor Stefan Danailov. She plays on the stage of the Youth Theater, Sofia. She has participated in theatrical performances "Elizaveta Bam", "Three Sisters", "View from the Bridge," "Moon Marigolds," "Dear Elena Sergeevna" and many others. For the role of Tilly in "Moon Marigolds" she gets Theater Award "Asker" for Supporting Actor in 1997. She was awarded with Nevena Kokanova's Prize for Debut at the 27th edition of the National Film Festival "Golden Rose" for her role in the film "Monkeys in Winter". In 2010, she received Theater Award "Asker" for the Female leading role in the show "Nordost - a tale of destruction" by Torsten Buhshtayner, directed by Vassilena Radeva at the Youth Theater.
