Erin Michelle Vaiskauckas was born August 23, 1983 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA to a NASA Engineer and an ER Nurse. Captivated by movement and storytelling, she began dancing at a very young age and quickly fell in love with the stage. Classically trained in both Europe and China, she holds a BFA in Painting with Art History Minor from The Savannah College Of Art And Design.
Her studio practice lead her back to performance. She began creating independent shorts under the same moniker and apt title: "Another Terrible Idea" (2015-17), a series which she referred to as paintings. Performing in galleries, event spaces, immersive theater, music videos and independent films such as: "Premier Premier, Dance With Me" (2015), "Heartwood" (2015), "Head Trip" (2017), and "Locking Up" (2017), she now considers herself primarily a movement artist and a storyteller.
