- Carolyn Craig was born Adele Ruth Crago on October 27, 1934, in Green Acres, New York. Her father, Clarence, was an engineer and her mother, Ruth, was a housewife. The family moved to Santa Barbara, California, when she was child. Carolyn started her career acting at the Santa Barbara Community playhouse. In 1955 she appeared in the television movie Edgar Allan Poe At West Point. The beautiful brunette also modeled for series of photos where she portrayed a "healthy housewife". Her big break came when she played Elizabeth Taylor's sister in the 1956 drama Giant. Then she had the leading role in the film noir Portland Expose. On September 30, 1957 she married businessman Charles Graham. The couple had a son named Charles Edward. Carolyn costarred with Vincent Price in the 1959 horror film House On Haunted Hill.
She also appeared on numerous television shows including Perry Mason, The Rifleman, and The Life And Legend Of Wyatt Earp. Because she looked so young she was often cast as teenagers. Her marriage to Charles ended in 1961. Although many of her performances got good reviews, she never became an A-list star. She joined the cast of the soap opera General Hospital in 1963. The following year Carolyn married Arthur France Bryden, the manager of a car dealership. Her final acting role was in a 1967 episode of the TV show T.H.E. Cat. She divorced Arthur in the spring of 1970 and fell into a deep depression. On December 12, 1970, she committed suicide by shooting herself in her Culver City home. She was thirty-six years old. Carolyn was buried in an unmarked grave at Inglewood Cemetery in Inglewood, California. - Actress

Ilan Moskovitch he is a Filmmaker, Producer, Casting Director,Director,Acting Instructor and Mentor. For 20 years, Ilan Moskovitch has been an integral player and a senior partner in the Israeli film industry, where he has been the Producer, Casting Director and Artistic Consultant for some 30 films. As a sworn cinefil and a person with an innate curiosity about human nature, Ilan is especially motivated to understand human emotions and to search for people's stories. Ilan's qualities lend themselves to his profession. Ilan Moskovitch was born in Akko in 1966, as a second son to Romanian immigrants that had experienced the hardships of World War II in Eastern Europe. His mother, Anna, worked as a nurse in a hospital and his father, Meir, had a kiosk in old Akko, which was located under the stairs of Bustan, the Arab cinema in Akko. This small balcony has had an incredible influence on his profession and his world view. As a curious and sensitive child, he started conversations with passerby near the cinema, including both teamsters who parked their wagons at the sidewalk across the street, blue collar workers in the area, and the scholars. "I loved watching people and chatting with them. For me, it was enough just to watch the people's faces, especially the adults. I liked to imagine them as little kids immediately; their actions, their parents and their living environment..." In 1988, he moved to the big city of Tel-Aviv and began to study cinema. In 1992, he graduated from the Video and Cinema Department of the Camera Obscura School of Art. In 1993, he served as a manager and production coordinator in several TV projects, where he worked alongside directors Ze'ev Revach, Dan Wolman, and others. In 1995, a meaningful turning point took place for Ilan when he randomly met the internationally known Israeli director Amos Gitai. Ilan served as his personal assistant in the movie Dvarim and from then on, a close friendship developed between them. They have worked together on 23 features thus far, 15 of which them are feature films, among them Yom Yom, Kadosh, Kippur, Eden, Kedma, Alila, The Promised Land, Free Zone, Disengagement,Carmel,Ana Arabia, and most recently "Rabin The Last Day" for which Moskovitch served as a casting director and artistic consultant . Four of the movies, Kadosh (1999), Kippur (2000), Kedma (2002), Free Zone (2005)were participants in the Cannes Film Festival official competition. Ilan won an honorable personal achievement when the actress Hanna Laszlo won the award for Best Actress at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival her role in Free Zone, a film for which he was the Casting Director. Also with Gitai, Ilan has produced several documentary films; among them are The Arena of Murder, Orange, Milim, Golan Diary, and a video installation entitled The Public Residence of The Fifties, which was shown at the Herzliya Museum and at the Ein Harod Museum of Art. In addition to his continued fruitful and fascinating work with Amos Gitai, in 1997, Ilan founded Cinemax, a production company, along with the director David Noy, with whom he has produced What Now?, Arlekino Behind The Masks and Peach. In 2001, he worked as a producer with David Gilboa for a number of commercials and image films; among their clients were Bank HaPoalim, The Ministry of Environmental Protection, SHL TeleMedicine, Ford Automobiles, UJA, and others. He died in October 2011 due to a cardiac arrest - Ghassan Kanafani was born in Acre, Palestine - while it still was Palestine. His father was a lawyer. Right before the outbreak of the Arab-Israeli War the whole family fled north. After living in a Lebanese village just by the border, in hope of a possibility of returning they moved to Syria after the borders were closed due to the cease fire agreement, and finally settled down in Damaskus. Young Ghassan had to help feeding his family of eight. By taking part of evening classes he graduated in 1955.
He then moved to Kuwait, like many Palestinians before him. It was there he began to write. His writing illustrated the life of the Palestinian people. Their miserable lives. Their exile. And later on; their struggle. In 1961 he moved to Beirut, Libanon. Their he wrote his most famous novel; Men under the sun. It was later made to a movie by the name al-Makhdu'un, or The Dupes.
Alongside his writing career, he was a activist for the Palestinian cause. He was a member of dr. George Habash's Arabic Nationalist Movement (ANM) faction, which later became Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). 1963 Kanfani became editor in chief of ANM's newspaper, al-Muharrir. In 1967 ANM became PFLP. They made Marxism-Leninism their official ideology. Two years later, Kanafani founded the new movements official newspaper, al-Hadaf (The Target). al-Hadaf still exists, as the official voice of PFLP.
The 8th of July, 1972 Kanafani entered his car as he was headed for the office for al-Hadaf. The car was rigged with a bomb, and he died instantly. His pen was as threatening to Israel as the guerrillas rifles, if not more. His legacy lives on among the Palestinians, and he is considered one of the greatest modern Arabic authors. - Actress
