I started this show with pretty high expectations due to the supposed large budget and steller cast but i would've never guessed that this would undoubtedly be my favourite ever Egyptian show. The first 10 episodes are the weakest bunch but after it kicks off and doesn't hold back. Unprecedented directing and cinematography that rivals any foreign show accompanied by masterful performances throughout with great set pieces and battles. All major characters are well built and have emotional payoffs. The controversial use of the Egyptian dialect in place of traditional Arabic mostly seen in historic dramas was a risky choice that may sway some people's opinions but i believe it enhanced comedic moments and made the characters more relatable .
