Good for the wrong reasons
4 December 2022
This movie provided more entertainment from its failures than its successes. Most actors showed no emotion. The sound quality changed with every shot. Scenes were confusing. The plot was subpar.

There were a few positive things about the movie.

The Irish guy had a funny accent. The reverend showed convincing passion in her monologues. They did a great job making the actor who played Eli look like his dad did twenty years earlier. The actor who played the judge did a good job and reminded me of Colonel Sanders. The funeral scene was funny, although I don't believe that was the intent.

I wonder if there is a sequel planned to address the many questions I had at the end.

If you're looking for a good western movie, I would recommend The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly or Back to the Future 3 before Cheat the Hangman.
