Predictable production by the Mo Brothers (Timo Tjahjanto and Kimo Stamboel) leading to a pretty good last scene. This movie is dark, jumpy, uneven and isn't even scary. There's some good to great gore, a kick-ass evil femme fatale matriarch, but the characters don't react like people. A group of young adults find themselves trapped by a demented family who are hellbent on their demise. When a few of them escape to the side of the road the police find them and cuff them(?) and bring them back to the bad-guys. They mistreat the victims and kowtow to the perps for no reason we can see.
