2/10
Bad at the time and now hopelessly dated

Warning: Spoilers
This sequel to Australia's most successful film of the 1970s starts in a similar vein, with a sheepish Alvin succumbing to the advances of several women, before a change of pace sees him inexplicably adopted by a gang of American mobsters who force him to impersonate their leader who is accidentally shot. After that the film becomes a gangster farce with lots of tough posing, shoot-outs and chases until Alvin and his mate escape with one of the gangster molls Boobs La Touche (Chantal Contouri).

It is very silly, not at all funny and even less sexy than the original, despite the occasional bits of nudity. The film lacks the charm and originality of the first film, and both the script and the direction are particularly weak.
