Mani Ratnam's "Agni Natchathiram" is poorly written where the screenplay is not coherent and is episodic. It almost follows a sequence like - song, fight, emotion, song,.. But credit should be given to PC Sreeram's unique cinematography where lighting was explored to a great extent to give a different tone and feel to the film.
