This episode has Bart Maverick along with five other people stranded in the
desert after their stagecoach overturned with damn little water and besieged in
an adobe ruin by some Mexican bandits. As they have a Mexican bandit among
the stranded in the person of Gerald Mohr he tells Jack Kelly and the others what
those bandits want.
Turns out that saloon entertainer Whitney Blake is carrying a large amount of money for a family forced out of Mexico when the Juaristas came back. As they probably would have been killed anyway it's a good idea to fight.
It looks bad for Jack Kelly and the others who also include Philip Terry, Douglas Kennedy and Joanna Barnes. No food little water and no shelter from the blazing sun.
How do they get out of it? I will say Jack Kelly being the gambler he is pulls a real Hail Mary move. You have to see it to believe it?
