After the release of the movie Michel Vaillant earlier this year, I was finally able, through some reference I read, to get my hands on this DVD. Although vastly different than the movie, or even the comic book, the story is great and it is filmed more like a documentary than anything else. Great cars, great footage of F3, F2 and other races. Henri Grandsire plays MV and does a good job, although he is a little tall for a race driver. They clearly used subs for him during actual races as he suddenly becomes a lot smaller in the car! Well, this is nearly 40 years old and under the circumstances it is pretty well done! Highly recommendable for any race fan or, of course, Michel Vaillant fan.
