Everyone loves the originals but sometimes film franchises like to mix things up a bit. They introduce us, and the previously established world, to an entirely new character. But this means a change in CHARACTER, an entire new identity, and not merely a change in actor like Mr. James Bond.

Which of these film franchises that changed lead characters is your favorite?

(Please Note: I will also be excluding ANY superhero characters, as the identity of these characters is consistent between sequels even if there is a recast of the actor portraying said character.)
