Poll: Reliable Rustic Robby at 63

Robby the Robot Born July 1st 1955 (63 Years Old) has had an interesting life in pictures. As a well recognized prop, his longevity as an actor has covered six decades. He has worked with Hollywood's "A" List Actors such as Walter Pidgeon, Leslie Nielsen, Peter Lawford, Bob Denver, Anne Francis, Peter Falk, and Lynda Carter, just to name a few. The consummate professional he was, Robby did all his own stunts, and never used stand ins. Although he was stood in a lot! This probably lead to his Multiple Personality disorder. Of the 4 choices, what do you believe lies ahead for our Rustic Robot? After voting, please discuss here.

Bill Mumy and Robby the Robot in Lost in Space (1965)

    Choice #1 Retirement

Robby has not had a role for 13 years. Nobody wants to hire a Robot with wrinkly drooping rubber parts. So Robby finally retires to a converted Radio Shack in Palms Springs, called The R.S. Retirement Community for Unwanted Props. He will Join the Shark from Jaws, "Thing" from the Addams Family, the "Other" famous robot, and many other veteran props, and live happily ever after. Or maybe? Robby and the "Other" robot are jealous of each other! They both had a thing for the Replicant, Rachael from "Blade Runner". It ended badly!

Robby the Robot in The Twilight Zone (1959)

Choice #2 Robby Lives on and continues to Act?

Robbie stays as he is. No upgrades, Botox Injections, Nose Jobs, Light Panel Augmentations, (Bigger, Flashier), Paint Jobs, Etc. Etc. He continues to work without Union Representation. He will settle in to character robot acting parts in his old age. Will someone please clean the dust out of his canopy?

    Robby the Robot

    Choice #3 Upgrades?

A.I.Engineers and technicians pictured here who have done minor upgrades already decided that they can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, and faster, which Re-invigorates his career. You know, like John Travolta. Cost? Just $6,000,000! He gets a new name. Steve Houston. What? You got a problem with that? He wanted Austin....well you know that's not possible!

    Knight Rider (1982)

    Choice #4 Morphing?

Robby becomes a "TransAmFormer"! This is Robby's choice. He's ready for the next chapter in his life and career transformation. He'll be powered just like a Terminator. Power Cell! Unfortunately he currently has an off switch. Till you pick one these choices, He's stuck in the Warehouse in Aisle 13. Or is that at Warehouse 13 in an Isle? I think the second is right. Robby is an Ancient Artifact after all.
