BBC Names New ‘Top Gear’ Hosts to Succeed Matt LeBlanc
Comedian Paddy McGuinness and former cricket player Freddie Flintoff will replace Matt LeBlanc as presenters on “Top Gear,” the BBC announced Monday. The duo will join driver Chris Harris on the popular motoring show, while Rory Reid is stepping down from the main presenting lineup.

Season 27 of the series, which airs on BBC Two, will begin production in early 2019, with broadcast expected later in the year.

“This is a thrilling maneuver from the ‘Top Gear team,’ and I’m relishing what this trio will deliver,” said Patrick Holland, Controller of BBC Two. “Both Paddy and Freddie love their cars, but more than that, they’ll bring a new energy and competitive spirit to ‘Top Gear.'”

LeBlanc’s departure from the show was announced in May, paving the way for yet another reboot for “Top Gear” amid tumbling ratings. The “Friends” star and Chris Evans formed the first team that replaced longtime hosts Jeremy Clarkson,

The Washington Post columnist – an outspoken frequent critic of Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – was never seen again, and the Saudi government, after repeated denials,

In flashback, we saw the exact moment when Grace and Oliver — after their own, earlier plane had landed in New York — watched the arrival status for Ben and Cal’s flight change from “On Time” to an ominous “See Agent.” Shortly thereafter, Grace rang Jared, in hopes that he as a cop could cut through the vagaries and make sense of what they were hearing from officials,

Legends of Tomorrow Post Mortem: What's Haunting Constantine?
Just when the Legends of Tomorrow thought they were out of the timeline-babysitting business, a murderous, glittery goo-spewing unicorn pulled them back in.

Season 4 opened with the Legends wondering what all the hubbub Constantine tried to raise months prior at the beach was all about, warning that some “door” had been opened and what not, seeing as it had been Bau for them since. But no sooner had the Time Bureau thrown Sara & Co. a surprise party to celebrate their last fixed anachronism, the team found themselves drawn to the Woodstock music festival circa 1969, where a blood-thirsty unicorn was skewering

Appreciating the Voice Acting Work of Cristina Vee

It’s usually amazing to see how busy a voice actor is on a normal basis and looking at Cristina Vee’s list of accomplishments it’s very easy to appreciate just how valuable her time is when it comes to her work. According to Vee she comes from a family of artists that never really saw their talent as marketable and didn’t pursue it all that much. But when she was still a kid she was inspired by the cartoon Sailor Moon and decided at first that she wanted to be an animator, but later on changed her mind, thinking she would

The Voice Recap: Which Vocalists Got the Chop on Night 3 of the Battles?

Maybe The Voice had been doing us a favor by chopping some of its Season 15 Battles down to next to nothing. Initially, I’d felt gipped and like it was scarcely better than the dreaded montage treatment. (I suspect most of you felt that way, too, yes?) But headed into Night 3, I thought maybe the show was being kind, not only to singers who hadn’t done so well but also to us. I mean, would you really have wanted to hear another second of Jarred Matthew and Tyke James’ assault on Billy Joel’s “She’s Always a Woman”? I know I wouldn’t.

The Five Best Russell Crowe Movies of His Career

It’s amazing what can be done with a little bit of history and a lot of cinematic effect. Russell Crowe’s movies do this quite well and they prove to be highly entertaining, though when people go to research just what the past he’s acting out was really like they tend to deflate a bit when the history books tell the way it really was and don’t glamorize the legend. That’s perfectly okay to be honest, playing up legends and myths is something that humanity has done for centuries now as our stories have grown bigger and grander and taken on
