Dan Swain was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on April 6, 1992, to his lovely parents Jon Swain and Kelly Krpan, he has an older brother Scott and younger sisters Emma, Abby and Maisy.
Swain graduated Studio 58 Theatre School in Vancouver, Canada in 2019. He made his professional theatre debut in the Vancouver premier of Jez Butterworths play Jerusalem (2019). Following his theatrical debut Dan then studied at Canada's National Voice Intensive in Winnipeg, Manitoba under David Smukler (2019). Swain moved forward into Film and Television and can be seen in the films Awakening (2020), Blue Hour (2021), Jalopy (2021), Forever ago (2022) Heart of Gold (2022) and Gesture (2023) and the television show DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2021) on the CW Network. In the summer of 2021 he completed the Uta Hagen Intensive with Carol Rosenfeld at the Historic HB Studios located in NYC, USA.
Swain is of Ukrainian, Irish, English and Norwegian decent. He is represented by Brad Mellesmoen of Lucas Talent in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he resides.
