A Rolling Stone article was recently released with details on the behavior of nonbinary Queer Eye star Jonathan van Ness and his anger issues while on set.
The piece covered his behavior while filming with a source that called him “emotionally abusive” and a “monster” with “rage issues.” After the release of this article, fans of the show flooded the comments saying how upset it made them.
These fans took to Van Ness’ Instagram page with comments like, “I really hope the Rolling Stone article I just read has no truth to it.”
Additionally, one fan wrote, “You have always been a positive force in social media and someone who brings people up, especially those of us who are down. It would kind of suck if that was all just a facade.”
Van Ness has yet to comment on the backlash.

Tan France says he had nothing to do with Queer Eye colleague Bobby Berk being apparently fired and replaced on the popular Netflix series.
“Yes, I’ve heard what’s going on, and I just want to address one point real quick. My former colleague getting fired had nothing to do with me trying to get my friend hired,” France, a co-host and fashion expert on the series, said in a Friday Instagram post.
Rumors and accusations have flown since interior designer Berk left the series and news broke he would be replaced by Jeremiah Brent for the ninth season of Queer Eye after an alleged campaign led by France.
France, who fronts the style portion of the series, insists Netflix did its own casting for Berk’s replacement and without his campaigning for Brent, as he is accused of doing. “I didn’t prop my friend up for the job.

After six years, five cities, a stint in Japan, and connections with dozens of hometown “heroes” that the food, design, grooming, style, and culture experts helped make over, the quintet — known as the Fab Five — took home awards as producers in the Outstanding Structured Reality Program category.

There are new reports surrounding Bobby Berk‘s exit from Queer Eye.
The 42-year-old original member of the cast was “asked to leave” Netflix’s hit show after eight seasons, a source tells Us Weekly.
Keep reading to find out more…
The source claims that his departure was “because he wasn’t vibing with the cast,” which includes Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness.
“There were many challenges with scheduling [and] there was a loss of interest from Bobby filming the show. The network and the cast thought it was time to bring in fresh blood. His heart was not in it and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that,” the source said.
However, a second source told Us that he “was not asked to leave” and the “decision was amicable.”

“I’m so blessed to have my own daytime talk show, but it’s because of ‘Queer Eye,'” Brown told TheWrap ahead of the premiere of the second installment of the daytime talker. “Yes, of course, I did the work — I worked in social services for many years and I show people my skills — but that show gave me the platform and allowed people to believe in me and to see what I could do.”
For Brown, the Netflix series enabled viewers to witness his ability to connect on an emotional level with a wide variety of people, pointing to a Season 7 episode of “Queer Eye” where Brown, alongside fellow Fab Five members Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness,...

“Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown said his costar Antoni Porowski didn’t send him an invitation to attend his bachelor party. Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness were also left off the guest list.
During a chat with Bravo executive and host of Sirius Xm’s “Andy Cohen Live,” Andy Cohen, the reality TV star and personality revealed he seemingly wasn’t wanted at Porowski’s marital event.
“Did you go to Antoni’s bachelor party?” Cohen asked.
“I did not. I wasn’t invited,” Brown replied. “The shade of it all.”
He then went on to say that along with him, his two castmates also weren’t invited to attend.
“No. Bobby was not invited, I was not invited, and Jon Van Ness,” Brown said. “Just Tan [France] was invited. The shade.”
When Cohen mentioned that Berk told him that he was simply unable to make the party, Brown responded by denying Berk’s claim.

As an editor for Netflix’s Queer Eye, Toni Ann Carabello says the work is very different from other reality series. “On a lot of other shows, you’re over-emphasizing the drama,” she says. “On Queer Eye, you’re really just playing up the best parts of what’s there… It just makes everyone leave smiling.”
Carabello was nominated for an Emmy for her work on Queer Eye episode “Speedy for Life”, which follows a young man looking to inspire others after a traumatic accident. “At the end of the day, [that episode] touched everybody with how it really made an impact on this kid’s life,” she says. “He was just a nice, sweet kid who seemed appreciative of everything and genuinely happy.”

Designer Bobby Berk wanted his first book to extend beyond pages of home design eye candy, but instead offer practical style inspiration that could be put into practice.
As Queer Eye‘s resident home decor guru, Berk is always thinking of how design can be helpful and make his clients’ lives easier. So when it came to creating a book, he insisted that his book be more than just beautiful but also accessible to everyone.
“So, it comes out September 12th and the inspiration behind it was teaching people. I have always wanted to democratize design,” he told Showbiz Cheat Sheet about his new book, “Right at Home: How Good Design Is Good for the Mind.”
“So many times, for years people have been like, ‘Oh, please put out a design book, please put out a design book.’ And to be really frank, design books are expensive to make because...
