Annamarie's career in television began 30 years ago, with an internship at Nickelodeon on a children's movie review show Rated K for Kids. It combined two of her favorite things - TV and movies. After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, she moved from New York to Los Angeles to break into the entertainment industry.
The early part of her career began in Programming & Production at Fox Television. She started as a production assistant at KTTV on the late-night comedy show Comic Strip Live, and eventually produced local specials; I Love Lucy Marathons and The Tournament of Roses Pre-Parade Shows. She moved into entertainment news when Fox launched Good Day LA, where she produced the morning show's live remotes.
Eventually, Annamarie left Fox to write/produce for The Gossip Show, and Behind the Scenes at E! Entertainment Television. She interviewed many of her movie idols, including Meryl Streep, Nora Ephron and Robin Williams, and produced 30-minute specials on major motion picture releases like Star Wars and Mission Impossible.
Annamarie segued into documentary filmmaking after getting certified in the Apple editing software Final Cut Pro X. Her first documentary short, Father Forgive Me, focuses on resurrecting severed family connections and is available for private screenings.
