After you rate him in our poll below be sure to sound off with your thoughts on the show in the comments section.
Legend is just that in the music business and he was not afraid to express his strong opinions about the would-be singers on “The Voice.” He held his own against both Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who have been coaches on the show since it began, as well as Kelly Clarkson who is coming off back-to-back wins.

Jennifer Hudson is hoping that her second stint as a coach on “The Voice” will work out better than the first. Over the 15 seasons of “The Voice,” a dozen music superstars have served as coaches. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and country crooner Blake Shelton have been with the show from the start while current coaches Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson had each done a season before the current one. Is one of this foursome your favorite ever coach? Or do you prefer one of the other eight singers who have left the panel? Vote in our poll below and sound off in the comments section.
Hudson was first a coach last fall on season 13 of this Emmy-winning show. She proved to be unlucky in her debut, just missing out on a place in the final when Noah Mac was the last of the Top 8 to be eliminated. That season marked the sixth win for Shelton. One of his artists, Chloe Kohanksi, won the title while another, Red Marlowe, made it to fourth place.

Remember when it seemed like Season 15 of The Voice was getting off to kind of a slow, understated start? No shoe-throwing or anything. Well, that all changed with Tuesday’s Night 4 of the Blind Auditions, during which a contestant so rocked the coaches that she got not one but both of Jennifer Hudson’s shoes, one of Adam Levine’s sneakers, a Kelly Clarkson jacket and yes, even Blake Shelton’s drink. How’d the singer (pictured above) get them all riled up? Read on…

Kelly Clarkson certainly didn’t suffer from beginner’s nerves as a coach on season 14 of “The Voice” as she mentored Brynn Cartelli to victory. This season on “The Voice,” new coach Kelly Clarkson is not shy about bringing up the fact that she’d be the best mentor because she’s been through a similar process on “American Idol.” While Clarkson is in the reality TV record books for being the first-ever “American Idol” winner back in 2002, she’s not the only alum to show up on “The Voice.” Last season Jennifer Hudson joined the NBC singing competition after coming in seventh place on “American idol” in 2004. Which “American Idol” superstar is the better “The Voice” coach? Vote now in our poll below.

Before signing on to “The Voice” Clarkson was rumored to be a contender to judge ABC’s revival of “American Idol,” which debuts Sunday, March 11. Instead, Clarkson joined “The Voice” Season 14 alongside longtime coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and second-timer Alicia Keys.

The Voice has declared its season 13 winner!
Chloe Kohanski took home the top prize during Tuesday night's live results show finale. The 23-year-old rocker from Tennessee was on Team Blake, and it's no surprise that she looked visibly excited and a tiny bit surprised when she was declared the champ.
Tyler Golden/NBC
She also got a massive hug from her coach, Blake Shelton, as confetti fell. The 41-year-old country crooner -- and the only coach besides Adam Levine to be on the show all 13 seasons -- is now a six-time coaching champ.
Trae Patton/NBC
As if she needed to prove she was a total rockstar, Chloe's finale performance was "White Wedding" alongside Billy Idol himself.
Tyler Golden/NBC
One of the music competition's youngest contestants left in the competition, Addison Agen (Team Adam), was the runner-up, while Brooke Simpson (Team Miley) came in third and Red Marlow (Team Blake) came in fourth.

Remember how, as Season 12 of The Voice drew to a close, there was actual suspense about whether Chris Blue or Lauren Duski would be named the winner? Season 13 hasn’t been like that. For what seems like ever, Chloe Kohanski has dominated in both iTunes sales and our weekly TVLine polls. So Tuesday’s results show was really just a long, long wait to hear her victory announced. Unless, that is, we were in for one heck of an upset. (Spoiler alert: We weren’t.) And I know it’s often seemed like I have it in for Chloe; I really don’t.

And now, the end is near. Ahead of next week’s crowning of Chloe Kohanski as the winner Season 13 finals, The Voice cut four contestants on Tuesday. Based on Monday’s Top 8 performances, I’d have dropped Adam Cunningham, Keisha Renee, Davon Fleming and Chloe Kohanski — I know, I know. That’s sacrilege! (And yes, in hindsight, I was giving out A’s like they were certificates of participation; blame the Christmas spirit?) Based on TVLine’s Top 8 poll and iTunes sales, it looked like the same quartet was on the chopping block, except Noah was in trouble, not the...

As The Voice hurtled toward the Season 13 semifinals Tuesday, three contestants sang for a save before not one but two of them were sent packing. Going into the hour, the likeliest candidates for elimination were, as usual, Shi’Ann Jones (poor sales and polling) and, this time around, Ashland Craft (whose star power shone about as brightly Monday as one of those miniature glitter stars your teacher would affix to your test when you got an “A” in second grade). But who actually took their final bows?

Ok, so this isn’t the most suspenseful season of The Voice ever. At this point, for Chloe Kohanski not to win, she wouldn’t just have to hit a bum note, she’d have to smack one of the show’s producers. (And even then, if she cried a glittery, apologetic tear, they might turn the other cheek.) The only real question mark hanging over Season 13 is which contestants will be singing with her in the finals. Some, obviously, won’t make it. (Good as he is, poor Adam Cunningham’s been on borrowed time for going on three weeks.

Based on iTunes rankings and TVLine’s post-Top 11 poll, Tuesday’s episode of The Voice should have found JHud’s green teen being redubbed Bye’Ann Jones. But if the Top 12 Results Show taught us — well, me — anything, it’s that the iTunes/poll combo is hardly a reliable predictor of eliminations. So, was the mysterious fan base that doesn’t seem to download Shi’Ann’s songs or vote for her in polls again energized enough to help her avoid the Bottom Two, never mind the axe?

Upon hearing that The Voice‘s Top 11 would be performing songs suggested by viewers, I thought, “Hey, at least we can’t do any worse than Miley Cyrus assigning ‘Delta Dawn’ to Ashland Craft or Adam Levine sticking Adam Cunningham with ‘Against All Odds.'” And who among us hasn’t said to themselves, “No, no, no, don’t give so-and-so that song, give them this song!” then added for emphasis, “Jeez, why would you be so cruel to a member of your own team, Coach?!?” Personally, I wanted to hear Chloe Kohanski try something from the Sia catalog, Noah Mac rock Franz Ferdinand,...

Headed into The Voice’s Top 12 Results Show Tuesday, it looked, based on iTunes rankings and Monday’s TVLine poll, like Shi’Ann Jones was going to be singing for a save — and hopefully, not a Mariah Carey song, either. Team Jennifer’s green teen was last in sales and close to last in votes. So the question was really, Wth was Miley Cyrus wearing?!? No, seriously, the question was, against whom would Shi’Ann be singing, Ashland Craft, Davon Fleming or Red Marlow, who was polling higher than Adam Cunningham but selling worse?

In the first of the season 13 live shows for The Voice, the Top 12 perform for the coaches to see who will be eliminated. Adam Levine's team has Jon Mero, Addison Agen and Adam Cunningham. Blake Shelton still has Red Marlow, Keisha Renee and Chloe Kohanski. Davon Fleming, Shi'Ann Jones and Noah Mac are left on Jennifer Hudson's team, with coach Miley Cyrus boasting Ashland Craft, Janice Freeman and Brooke Simpson.
The remaining 12 are all very eclectic singers, with styles varying wildly even inside each team. With the first live show, the performers will surely be singing as if their lives depend on it. And it does, as America votes to narrow the team even further in the first results show of the season.

After Team Miley Cyrus took to the stage on Wednesday, The Voice whittled down its roster of contestants from 24 (including a quartet of Comeback Artists) to the 12 for whom viewers will finally be able to vote when the live shows start next week. Based on your responses in TVLine’s polls thus far, Season 13’s likeliest winners would seem to be Davon Fleming (Team JHud) and Jon Mero (Team Adam Levine). Based on iTunes sales, Noah Mac (Team JHud) tops Davon, and Addison Agen (Team Adam) tops Jon. And, given your impassioned defense of Chloe Kohanski, she can’t be discounted as a contender,...
