Anthony Eve
- Composer
Anthony Eve is a composer and producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland. While mostly composing for TV and film, Anthony has also written for theatre as well as solo endeavours.
Eve navigates between traditional orchestration, Celtic folk and electronics to create new hybrid musical forms. His work in 2020's 'Roy' starring BAFTA and Olivier Award winner David Bradley in the title role, opposite Academy Award® winner Rachel Shenton was a hybrid of traditional orchestration combined with analog synth and electro-acoustic sound design using glass harp and an open upright piano.
Eve released an EP of his compositions titled 'Shades of Green' in 2021. The EP is inspired by the landscapes and people of Northern Ireland, combining traditional Celtic harmony and melody alongside contemporary orchestration and electronics.
His work in 2021's 'An Irish Goodbye' saw use of traditional Celtic folk and electro-acoustic music using detuned Banjos and mandolins to create a new unique sound world in which the film took place.
in 2021 Anthony scored his first TV Series 'Hope Street' for LongStory TV, BBC and Britbox.
