William Wright is a renowned contemporary composer known for creating original music for film, television, marketing, and concert halls. A distinguished graduate of Berklee College of Music, he earned a bachelor's degree in Music Composition and holds an advanced professional specialization in Orchestration for Film and Television. Wright's achievements include composing for five feature films, best known for scoring director Jordan Noel's award-winning drama "This World Alone," available on Hulu.
William has received various residencies and commissions from prestigious organizations including Roane Choral Society, Oak Ridge Civic Music Association, and LA's Living Arts Exchange Festival. Wright's talents have been recognized with awards such as Milan Italy's Screen Music Program's Best Composer for the Screen (2021), Film Fest Knox's Best Composer (2023), and a 2023 Bailey Opportunity Grant. Additionally, he has been a two-time alumnus The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center's National Puppetry Conference and has showcased new works at the International New Music Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia.
