In Sanskrit, Kashvi means 'Shining Star.' Kashvi Ramani is a budding actress and writer who grew up in Northern Virginia but is now in the Boston MA area pursuing her studies.
Kashvi has won awards for not only her acting but also memoirs, scripts, poetry, songs at local, regional and national levels. At age 15, she was awarded the prestigious YoungArts Finalist in the Theater and Merit in Writing for Spoken Word Poetry. At age 11, she won Best Actress in the Liberty University Cinematic Arts Student Showcase Awards, among 54 films.
She is the current Virginia Youth Poet Laureate and has been the Arlington County Youth Poet Laureate, a member of the Virginia Youth Poet in Community, DC Slam youth poetry team, and a professional improv teen company.
Her hobbies are listening to music, reading, and traveling. She enjoys golf and can play the guitar!
