Kurt Kanazawa (he/him) is an accomplished actor & opera singer, The Juilliard School (GD), Manhattan School of Music (MM), & Columbia University (BA) graduate, of Japanese (yonsei) & Filipino (Ilocano) descent, born on the ancestral homelands of the Tongva & Chumash nations. Off-Broadway: Pan Asian Repertory (his solo show "L'OPERA!"). Regional: East West Players, Los Angeles LGBT Center, Boston Court Pasadena, Detroit Public Theatre, Rogue Artists Ensemble, LATW, Artists At Play, BBC World Service, El Teatro Campesino, IAMA, Ojai Playwrights Conference (where, additionally, he was a member of the reading committee). TV/Film: "Grey's Anatomy," "Bosch: Legacy," "The Lincoln Lawyer," "No No Girl," "A Life in Pieces: the Diary and Letters of Stanley Hayami" @Tribeca. Opera: New World Symphony, The Industry-LA, NCPA-Beijing, Teatro Colón (Buenos Aires). His uncle, Simeon Den (Dingo Secretario), was in the original Broadway cast of Stephen Sondheim's "Pacific Overtures."
Kurt is also a 6x award-winning audiobook narrator, including New York Times' best sellers "If I See You Again Tomorrow" by Robbie Couch and "To Paradise" by Hanya Yanagihara.
