Deidre Rose

Raised by cowboys in California, Deidre Rose is a MA graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). There, she delved into the rich traditions of classical acting and professional theatre, honing her skills in voice, movement, and the practical application of classical acting techniques.
Deidre tested at the highest level in BADC Standard Rapier Single Sword and Rapier & Dagger. She is also certified in BASSC Broadsword and BASSC Knife. An avid performer, Deidre has trained in commedia mask, clowning, dance and singing.
In England, Deidre performed in various classical productions. She was Mark Antony in Julius Caesar, Vittoria in The White Devil, and Lucrecia in Punishment without Revenge. She performed in two "Shakespeare in the Park" productions - one as Paris in Romeo & Juliet and another as Mistress Quickly and the French Ambassador in Henry V.
Deidre also co-starred alongside an Indian cast in the Marathi film Kanni, set to hit West Indian theaters in 2024.
Before London, Deidre made her stage debut in the well-received Brilliant Lies by San Francisco's Firescape Theatre. Deidre was a lead in a popular, long-running immersive musical theater production called The Speakeasy SF and starred in several Bay Area independent films. Her film Through the Ashes currently holds 3.4 million views on YouTube.
Deidre holds a BS in Mathematical Economics (with a minor in Mathematics) and a BA degree in International Relations (with a Pre-Law concentration). She has studied Arabic, Portuguese, and Spanish both domestically and internationally.
Deidre has worked in impact/private equity fund management, a global affairs think tank in San Francisco, and on California Governor Brown's 2014 Gubernatorial Trade Mission to Mexico City. She also tutored mathematics and writing. Throughout that time, she dedicated her early mornings, evenings, and weekends to being onset or onstage.
In her free time, you can find her adventuring. Traveling, camping, kayaking, kitesurfing...you name it!
