- Matthew Brdlik is an award winning film Writer, Director, Producer from Chicago Illinois who prides himself on the strong themes and tonality behind his work.
Originally from Plainfield Illinois, Matthew started into film by running several successful Youtube Channels throughout middle school and high school. Matthew then attended DePaul University's School of Cinematic Arts where he helped in the creation of over 25 narrative, documentary, and experimental films. Among them was Dissidence (2084) which he wrote, directed, and produced. The short went on to play at 13 festivals internationally, winning two awards, and being nominated for five others. The film was then optioned and licensed by Strange Loop Films. Matthew then wrote, directed, and produced Tantalization, which won The Story Tellers Award at Sidewalk Film Festival.
In December of 2019 Matthew was hired by Shed FIlms to Produce and Direct Wild Gamble, a documentary series. He worked on the project until August of 2022. Following this he created three more narrative shorts (Nova Scotia Man, Rebranded, Reversed).- IMDb Mini Biography By: Matthew Brdlik
