Before being elected to the Bundestag, employed as a personal assistant to the financial policy spokesperson of the Green parliamentary group in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. Various professional experiences as managing director in campaign management.
Member of Amnesty International, the Foundation for the Rights of Future Generations, SC Freiburg e.V. and Experiment e.V.. V. Board member of the German-Atlantic Society.
