Stuart Bramwell is an award-winning composer from England, UK. With a bachelor's of the 1st class from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a master's with highest distinction from the Berklee College of Music, Stuart has accumulated a vast knowledge writing music for all genres across film & television in addition to receiving specialist tutelage from Paul Chihara, whose previous students include James Horner and Joseph Trapanese. Throughout his musical career, Stuart has been lucky enough to collaborate with many distinguished talents including Andy Serkis, Alice Eve, Robert Hardy, Nicola Benedetti, Nitin Sawhney and Cristina Ramos.
A previous assistant to 9-time Grammy nominated Hollywood composer Mark Portmann (Mission: Impossible Fallout [2018], First Man [2018]), Stuart has won many international awards for his music in addition to appearances with ITV, BBC, TVE, Classic FM and more. In 2020 Stuart was the proud recipient of the 2020 BAFTA Hunter Foundation scholarship, granted to exceptional talent in the film & TV industry.
In addition to working on film, Stuart frequently works with RTVE (Spanish national television) and Television Canaria, composing and arranging music for shows and working alongside eminent Spanish talent. On YouTube, Stuart's orchestral arrangement '1 Orchestra 30 film & TV Themes' has become a viral sensation, amassing almost 2 million views as well as dozens of intended live performances by orchestra's all over the globe.
Stuart has previously led a successful career as a violinist, performing all over the world. Notable performances include the 2016 BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, ITV's period drama 'Belgravia' and for Her Royal Highness the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
