Sammy Anzer is a stand-up comedian, writer, and Pokémon master based in Denver, Colorado. Growing up in Queens, he honed his live comedic performances at JHS 157 with thought-provoking class clownery. Sammy wrote his way out of Queens to complete his master's in education. In Memphis, he appeared on Kevin Hart's "You Look Like," where he famously looked like "church camp Drake" and "the most handsome employee at Taco Bell."
Now, Sammy is growing into the mixed-race comedic voice in America, and he has proven it by performing with DL Hughley, Rojo Perez, Maria Bamford, and Neal Brennan. He's a regular at Comedyworks in Denver, QED in Queens, and you might recognize him from Skankfest, High Plains Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, and placing as "Best of The Fest" at the 10 Thousand Laughs Festival.
