Jay Poff

Jay is an American recording artist, actor, and singer of the stage and screen and has had the honor of being guided by Broadway and other commercial music industry composers and/or performers such as Stephen Schwartz, John Bucchino, Jason Robert Brown, Shoshana Bean, Jeremiah Abiah, and award winning Grammy Music Educator Finalist, David Anthony Dehner. Jay is a native of Huntsville, AL and holds degrees in Music Business/Vocal Performance and Bible/Theology from Lee University. While residing in Central PA, he and his wife, Megan Poff, teach area professionals and novices vocal and other performance techniques. Jay's most notable credits include originating the portrayal of "Moses" in Sight & Sound Theatre's MOSES; portraying Sam Spade in the Eastern U.S. Premier of The Maltese Falcon; leading the New York Contemporary Choir in Broadway's Rocktopia!, a dynamic fusion of symphonic/operatic works and Classic Rock; serving as Writer, Impresario, and Vocalist of For Your Ives Only: A Tribute to Charles Ives, currently shelved at Yale University's Irving S. Gilmore Music Library, The Charles Ives Society, and Indiana University Library. Jay's TV/Film credits include appearances in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Quantico, and The Greatest Showman.
