Congress once again got pretty close to a physical brawl during a committee meeting this week, and the women of “The View” were disgusted — but also a little amused — by it on Wednesday morning. For host Sara Haines, it was reminiscent of a certain someone who went viral on “Dr. Phil.”
On Tuesday, Congressman Tim Burchett said he “got elbowed in the back” by Kevin McCarthy, while Senator Bernie Sanders had to actually break up a fight between Oklahoma senator Markwayne Mullin and the president of the Teamsters union, Sean O’Brien.
After a disagreement, Mullin said “You want to run your mouth? We can be two consenting adults. We can finish it here,” and challenged O’Brien to “stand your butt up.”
“Why did they all turn into the ‘catch me outside’ girl?” Haines mocked. “Like, they’re literally ready to beat the crap out of every single one of them.

Lil Tay’s former manager is calling for “cautious consideration” in the wake of the rapper’s family announcing her sudden death on her Instagram account.

On Thursday, following years of speculation, a grand jury in New York voted to indict former President Donald Trump. The charges stem from a $130,000 hush money payment to Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. Daniels claims she had an affair with Trump, which Trump has denied.
The indictment is historic in that it marks the first time a U.S. president has ever faced criminal charges. But it’s also notable for another reason: at the time she was thrust into the spotlight, Daniels was a famous pornographic actor who...

“What young people want from pop culture isn’t what old people want from pop culture,” New York Times pop music critic Jon Caramanica observes in Justin Staple’s documentary “American Rapstar.” The film charts the rise of a generation of lo-fi rappers buoyed by the advent of online streaming platform SoundCloud, founded in 2007. Smokepurpp, Lil Xan, and Bhad Bhabie are among the (living) talking heads, while deceased rappers XXXTentacion and Lil Pump also get a spotlight as the feature dives into the substance-abuse epidemic plaguing the scene — from popping Xanax to the more serious, very often fatal fentanyl. Director Staple’s film introduces a lot of big ideas, mostly successfully, from indicting Big Pharma for encouraging pill addiction to the generational divide between the hip-hop artists who came of age in the early 1990s to today’s primarily internet-driven base. While a straightforward documentary in the classic sense, it...

"What young people want from pop culture is not what old people want from pop culture…" Utopia has revealed a trailer for a music documentary titled American Rapstar, which originally premiered back in 2020 at a few major documentary festivals. It's finally opening on VOD in October. A new scene of troubled, lo-fi young rappers have emerged from utilizing the SoundCloud streaming platform to quickly become the most culturally disruptive force in hip hop, shocking the world with their rambunctious antics, prescription drug use, facial tattoos, and tons of rebellious punk energy. Justin Staple's new doc American Rapstar tells the story of how these artists, including Smokepurpp, Lil Xan, XXXTentacion, Lil Peep and Bhad Bhabie, have unsettled the music industry, tested pop culture boundaries and paved their own unique roads. On one hand, these artists seem over-the-top ridiculous. On the other hand, this looks like an honest doc that digs...

Bhad Bhabie wants to set the record straight. The 18-year-old social media star, who first went viral after her 2016 appearance on Dr. Phil, took to Instagram on Oct. 10 to address the recent criticism over her appearance. In the process, the star also opened up about the cosmetic procedures she's already gotten. "I got 1/2 syringe of lip fillers a couple months ago, veneers and Sculptra and silicone in my butt," Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, wrote alongside a collage of pictures of herself throughout the years. "I've told y'all that multiple times." "What's the point of my wearing makeup if it don't make me...

Over the past year or so, it’s become something of a rite of passage for celebrities of a certain tier — think reality TV villains, Disney stars gone wild, and British tabloid mainstays — to tease starting an OnlyFans account. And way back in February, the rapper Bhad Bhabie, a.k.a. Danielle Bregoli (a.k.a. Cash Me Ousside Girl) posted on her Instagram Stories that she would start an OnlyFans account when she turned 18, the minimum age for joining the website, with the caveat that she would not post nude or sexually explicit content.

A judge reportedly signed off on the request Monday. Jackson told TMZ in a statement, "Because Danielle stopped threatening me after the Court ordered her to do so, and now that she's made the decision to work on herself through rehab and therapy, I'm pleased that I don't need to extend my restraining order. Bhad Bhabie isn't taking accusations that she darkened her skin lightly. The 17-year-old rapper became a topic of discussion on the internet today when she posted videos of herself sporting quite a different look than what fans are used to typically seeing. Some went as far to say that Bhabie, otherwise known as Danielle Bregoli, purposefully altered her skin tone to appear as a different race. "Umm I think that foundation is a little bit too dark on your face," one Instagram user commented, while another wrote, "Okay this is blackfishing now for sure," referencing a term used when describing the use of makeup to appear black. “Saturday Night Live” kicked off its final episode of 2019 with a cold open sketch dedicated to the sixth democratic debate where moderator Judy Woodruff (Heidi Gardner) noted, “Just like ‘The Bachelor,’ the further we go, the less diverse it gets.”
Eddie Murphy, who hosted the episode, wasn’t the only returning “SNL” player to grace the stage at Studio 8H: Rachel Dratch reprised her role as Amy Klobuchar; Maya Rudolph returned as Kamala Harris (despite Harris having dropped out of the race); Fred Armisen came back as Michael Bloomberg; and Jason Sudeikis stepped in to play Joe Biden.
“Notice anything different about me?” Sudeikis’ Biden said. “Grandpa Joe got the glow up. I was ‘Irishmaned’: younger, yep; taller, sure; better, eh.”
When Armisen’s Bloomberg was asked how he got to the debate after not actually qualifying for it, he said that “for $30 million PBS is now owned by viewers like me.

Stardom At The Store: The myth used to be that Schwab’s Drugstore was Hollywood’s place to be discovered. But in London, a grocery store recently served the same purpose.
Singer/songwriter Karina Ramage has been signed by Dan Glatman, the music exec behind British boy band Blue. He claims the serendipitous signing came about when was in the Waitrose store in the West Hampstead section of London. There he noticed Ramage carrying a guitar. She had just arrived for her shift, but the unusual circumstance of carrying a guitar attracted Glatman’s attention.
Ramage told Glatman she was a part-time busker. He asked for a sample, and captured her performing her own song, Wasteland. He posted the song online and then told her he wanted to be her manager. She is now signed with him and they are searching for a record label. And the grocery store is searching for a new employee.

Cash her outside, or cash her inside — either way, Danielle Bregoli is rolling in the cash after signing a songwriting/co-publishing deal that could be worth as much as $1 million.
Known professionally as Bhad Bhabie, Bregoli came to public attention in 2016 on the Dr. Phil show, where she appeared with her mother on a segment spotlighting out-of-control teens. After being abused by the audience for her obstinence, she challenged the audience to “cash me outside, how ’bout that?”
The clip immediately went viral, and thus, a legend was born.
Bregoli transformed herself into a rapper, achieving some chart success. She also launched a Snapchat original series, Bringing Up Bhabie, and landed a $900,000 endorsement deal with Copy Cat Beauty.
Now, the 16-year-old is celebrating a publishing deal with Pulse Music Group, which also handles hip-hop clients Ty Dolla $ign, Kevin Abstract and Run the Jewels’ El-p.

Seemingly everything Bhad Bhabie touches turns to gold. And now, thanks to the foul-mouthed 15-year-old, who parlayed a viral appearance on Dr. Phil into a full-fledged rap career, Snapchat may have its first hit original series on its hands.
Bringing Up Bhabie, a short-form docuseries chronicling the life and times of Bhad Bhabie (whose real name is Danielle Bregoli) premiered on Monday and reportedly drew in 10 million viewers within its first 24 hours, TMZ reports. The show also features Bregoli’s mom and her bodyguard, who serves as a father figure of sorts. Snapchat declined to confirm whether this was its most-viewed original series to date, though the company tells Tubefilter it is encouraged by the numbers and the direction of Snap Originals as a whole.
Snapchat launched its original programming venture, Snap Originals, in October, and has steadily built a roster of scripted shows and docuseries -- all in vertical format.
