Dane Mychal is COO of Loch 22 Productions and is a producer of independently distributed films and media projects. He is also a content creator for YouTube and web-based media platforms. In 2022, he debuted as host of the cult film travelogue series Been There, Shot That. Serving also as narrator, co-producer and editor, he and his co-host, Dames Marvs, visit cult, horror and classic filming locations and reenact their favorite scenes in the places where they were originally shot. Prior to that, he served as the producer and co-host of CF3: Cult Fans, Films & Finds (2019-2021), a podcast turned video talk series that highlighted a new cult film each episode and asked celebrity guests to help them review their own movies. His interview subjects over the years have included Dee Wallace, Bruce Vilanch, Greydon Clark, George Pilgrim, Thom Mathews, Brian Trenchard-Smith, Oliver Robins, Lar Park Lincoln, Kelli Maroney, Rick Sloane, Corin Nemec, Sean Whalen, Ming Chen, Carl Gottlieb, Russ Streiner and Michael Ray Bower, among numerous others.
Dane has also spent time working with the team behind Project-Nerd, working on event programming at national and regional pop culture and comic conventions, co-hosting live streams at films festivals and cons, and hosting podcasts dedicated to cult film and pop culture.
Dane was born in the Pacific Northwest (WA) and now calls the Midwest (IA) home. He is a graduate of Creighton University with a degree in English and minor in Film. On November 1st, 2022, for reasons unbeknownst to anyone, he acquired the nickname "The Wolf."
