On a show like Stranger Things, death seems inevitable. Of course, by adding all sorts of dangerous, bloodthirsty monsters to the universe, the writers had to pick a few victims to murder in order to raise the stakes for viewers. No one wants to see the characters protected all the time, so sooner or later even fan favorites found themselves in danger.
The death of Joe Quinn's Eddie Munson at the end of season 4 was a moment many fans have yet to get over. Not only was it the end of his glorious redemption arc, but it was also a stark reminder that no Stranger Things character is ever truly safe. Ranking all the character deaths so far, fans still find his to be the most devastating.

After A Quiet Place and its sequel established a world where humans are being killed by noise-sensitive creatures and must stay silent to stay alive, A Quiet Place: Day One takes audiences back to the beginning of the alien invasion.
Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn star in the prequel, with John Krasinski — who wrote and directed the first two — on board as producer. At the film’s NYC premiere on Wednesday, the pair explained what it was like to do a film with so little dialogue, relying moreso on their facial expressions and physical movements.
“As human beings we’re always communicating with more than our words, so for us as actors, when we’re reading a script we’re always looking for what’s happening between the lines. Then you get rid of the dialogue and all you have is what’s between the lines, and there’s a...

If you even glanced at social media in the days leading up to the release of Volume 2 of Stranger Things Season 4, one thing was blatantly clear: Fans were terrified that one or more of their beloved characters were going to bite the dust — particularly, Eddie Munson.
Devastatingly, that fear was realized. In the Season 4 finale, Eddie (Joe Quinn) goes out in a moment of metal glory, battling a horde of Demobats to protect a town that vilified him for a crime he didn’t commit.
Despite Matt Duffer warning us that fans were likely to be “more frightened than they are normally for our characters” come Volume 2, and the bloodthirsty Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) killing Hawkins teens for sport all season, Eddie’s death left diehards around the world distraught. The Duffer brothers expected nothing less. Before the finale dropped, the co-creators texted Quinn saying, “We’re kind...
